Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Mythra. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Mythra (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use Mythra. If you live in a country where the minimum age of digital consent under Article 8 GDPR is higher than 16, you must meet that higher age. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

4. Invited access

During early access, Mythra is available only to users who have received a valid invitation code. Invitation codes are personal and non-transferable. Sharing your invitation code without permission from Mythra may result in account termination.

5. Your content

You retain full ownership of all content you create within Mythra, including wiki entries, manuscript text, character information, world data, and uploaded images. We claim no ownership over your creative work.

You grant Mythra a limited license to store, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for your content. You agree not to upload content that:

  • Infringes the intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains illegal material
  • Is intended to harass or harm others

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use Mythra only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to distribute spam or malicious content
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it

7. Collaboration features

When you invite other users to your world, you are responsible for managing their access. You control what roles and permissions invited users have. Mythra is not responsible for content created or actions taken by users you invite.

8. Service availability

We will make reasonable efforts to keep Mythra available and functional. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes to the Service at any time. During early access, features may change significantly.

9. Payment

Mythra is currently free during early access. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future. We will give reasonable notice before any previously free features become paid.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

Mythra is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mythra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or content. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or, where you are a consumer in the EU/UK, your statutory consumer rights.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you benefit from any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence, and nothing in this section deprives you of the right to bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows.
